Welcome: You’ve landed on the booking site for our therapy team of Jason Townsley, MSW, RSW, and Laura Archer, MSW, RSW. Here you’ll be able to select your desired appointment type and duration, and the date and time convenient for you.

Note: For your in-person sessions, you will find a QR code placard on the waiting room tables and beside our office door next to the bathroom. Scan this with your phone and follow the prompts. This feature allows you to self check-in. After completing this, make yourself comfortable in our waiting room and your therapist will greet you in a few minutes.

Session Fee Change: There will be a session fee increase for Jason Townsley’s appointments, coming January 2026. A quick background for the interested listener: Jason’s fees have remained constant since the end of 2022. Fees are intended to match the median range for masters level social work therapists with greater than 10 years experience. Half Sessions - $93, Full Sessions - $175, Extended Sessions - $262. For those in need, a reduced fee will also be established for a specific number of clients. Contact Jason for details.

Jason Townsley

Guided by the belief that we’re all wonderfully fallible in our shared journey of the human experience, Jason draws on years of training, professional successes, and personal application of evidenced-based modalities. His history includes therapy services delivered in psychiatric hospital settings, community mental health agencies, school boards, and the prison/detention system.

The main treatments he draws from include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic principles. Jason’s guided heavily by Attachment Theory and how this informs the way we understand both the parent-child relationship, and the romantic partner relationship. He applies an understanding of how Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can shape our physiological, neurological, psychological, and interpersonal health. Using a deductive reasoning approach, you and Jason map out the different environmental, biological, and psychological puzzle pieces to understand the nature of your presenting problem, and then discuss the necessary treatment steps to remedy this.

Perhaps most notably, Jason leads with an authentic mixture of compassion, humour, and curiosity, while challenging you in constructive ways to meet our treatment goals.
